We charge a flat rate of $20 per order for shipping and handling within the US

Shipping costs on orders placed outside the US will be adjusted accordingly

We ship via UPS or Federal Express, in both cases using their 2 day shipping service

If your print is damaged during shipping, please contact us by phone at 914-419-6977
at which point we will let you know how to proceed with the return of your order

Please keep all packaging materials to return the artwork

If for any reason you are not happy with your art work, we guarantee you a hassle free return policy

You may return your artwork within 14 days from the time you received it, for a full refund of the purchase price of the artwork

Artwork must be returned to The Art Print in perfect condition

We suggest using the original packing materials to return your artwork, therefore please retain all packing and shipping materials during the 14 day period, and please notify us, either by phone at 914-419-6977

After we receive the artwork, we will credit your credit card or send you a check, depending on your original method of payment, for the purchase price

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping and the original shipping costs will not be refunded

In some cases if the print is available in our inventory it will be shipped within 48 hrs of having received the order

Giclee (zhee-klay) - The French word "giclée" is a feminine noun that means a spray or a spurt of liquid. The word may have been derived from the French verb "gicler" meaning "to squirt".

Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.

Created using a combination of computerized imaging and high quality ink jet printing. With the proper inks and papers these prints are archival and high quality, retaining the colors for sometimes 85 years or more. Artwork can be reproduced to almost any size and on various media.

The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
